Strava is good but don't feel like taking my phone during rides
I never leave home without my phone, but prefer to keep it just for emergencies, tucked away in my jersey pocket.

I use a wired computer, the Planet Bike Protege 8.0 and it has been solid for a good 8 or 9 years. Once it is set up, it is simple, intuitive, and reliable. The Protege 9.0 looks to be the current model, though you might still find the 8.0 as well. My wife uses a Sigma bike computer, also wired. It is fine, but I prefer the display on my Protege 8.0.
