Bikes: Numerous

Randy that's a good resuscitation project right there. I also like to try to figure the history of a bike as well. I recently bought a Merckx Century frame set that has some pretty beat up chrome, the Campy aero past was jammed in to the hilt and a rag was used, I presume, to try to keep water and dirt out of the seat tube. The shifter bosses and derailleur hanger threads were stripped and dinged, so I suspect the bike was used as a hipster fixie. On close inspection though I could see touch up paint in a few spots and clean grease in the pristine headset and bottom bracket, marks of a caring owner at one point.
