Had to give up on the craigslist thing. I live about 40 minutes from a metro area where there were a lot of ads but with my work schedule it was about impossible to meet with someone and look at a bike. I work 70 hrs a week and no set schedule. Finally got to go to a couple more lbs and tried mist of the bikes suggested. I really liked the giant escape. At one lbs they suggested the escape 1 with an upgraded wheel set of 36h velocity chukker and another lbs suggested the escape 2 with another brand of 36h wheel sets. Both lbs offered $75 off the price of the bike for the stock wheel trade in. Would the escape 1 be worth the extra money? Thoughts? I've narrowed my choice down to either the giant escape or the specialized roll elite. Seat was harsh on the escape though and would definitely want to change it. Thanks again for the replies.
