Probably a bit. I haven't watched the aluminum Cervelo's a lot.

Aluminum Colnagos show up from time to time, usually at quite a bit lower prices than either steel or Carbon Fiber, but it would still be hard to push the price below $500 for one in reasonable shape.

Here is a Trek, for comparison, that showed up on the local Craigslist.

Anyway, it lists the Trek (1.1 or 1.2?) as being $800 new.

If the prices were the same, I'd choose the Cervelo over the Trek. Is it worth the extra $200, or almost double the cost? That would be an individual choice.

Here is a similar bike. Currently $500 + $50, and still bidding.
