I agree, blame it on a poor fit and the quality of the bike isn't what you expected and want to trade up to something better. You probably won't get a refund since you took the bike out of the store and rode it for awhile, but you could try if you want refund instead.
Long story short dicks would not allow me to exchange the second time. i had already exchanged it for my Nishiki . At this point i am done beating myself over the purchase and i am fine with the bike. The bike tech was super helpful checked everything again and certain things were just buyers remorse. I realized i should have done more homework but its a good lesson learned. Now i have only 2 options 1) ride this bike (which rides well) for few months and decide later or 2) sell a week old bike and get a better one.
at least for my next purchase i can start planning ahead
