Long story short dicks would not allow me to exchange the second time. i had already exchanged it for my Nishiki . At this point i am done beating myself over the purchase and i am fine with the bike. The bike tech was super helpful checked everything again and certain things were just buyers remorse. I realized i should have done more homework but its a good lesson learned. Now i have only 2 options 1) ride this bike (which rides well) for few months and decide later or 2) sell a week old bike and get a better one.

at least for my next purchase i can start planning ahead
Good attitude. You could keep the bike since reselling probably won't gain you much monetarily and use the bike for commuting to work or school, or use it when you go camping, you could find a use for it, then buy a better bike for training and long distance rides.
