Today marks my first day of cycling! Through months of research, I was debating between a Giant Escape 3 or a used Cannondale Quick 4 (due to strict budget). I didn't want to spend too much in case I lose interest in this sport.

I was about to pull the trigger on a Giant Escape 3 but stumbled upon a closing Sport Chalet. And I guess it was meant to be...I found a Hybrid bike that was on sale and well below my budget.

I got a Fuji Absolute 2.1 (Black) for $250 brand new! The only thing now is having it built as it was still in the box. It was my size and my preferred color scheme.

Pretty excited and looking forward to learn more about the biking community through this forum! Biking IS the new golf!
