Also you could ride the tour of california route, up Honey Springs Road

Within this past week --- a local media station of SD county, showing a map of HSR / Hwy94 in relation to a home development near the area. It been years since I concentrated cycling out there. Last time I was in that area, there were no houses. Only shacks, if any, were found. Rural land seems to be sliding away.
