Star nut for a carbon fork? Am I missing something in the steerer tube?
I always thought that you can't use a star nut with a carbon steerer?

Well, just noticed that my frameset that came from enigma has a headset with a star nut. Any idea how these go together? Should I get an expansion plug? What is that metal thingie in the top of the steerer tube?
