I have an 80's Specialized Rockhopper, pretty good bike & I esp liked the smooth ride--fork really soaks up bumps. Double eyelets on front/rear dropouts + seat stay rack mounts. Saddle was comfy & components were pretty solid. Didn't tour on it but it it withstood a year or two of courier work.
