The can of Eco-Sheep Everyday arrived today. It's a medium weight lube as you can well imagine. It seemed about the same viscosity as Pedro's Synlube which I have used in the past and a bit heavier than Pedro's Go which I had on hand to compare it with. Applying with a brush from a can was a new experience for me. I think it may be more complete way to cover the chain than dripping it on, which has been the method with other lubes. There was also less waste from missed drops, etc.
It smells like a regular chain lube, no particular odor anyway. Definitely no petroleum solvent type smell. I raise sheep in Western Mass., going on 23 years worth, so I kinda expected some kind of sheep odor. That isn't the case.
I'll let you know how it holds up after the first ride in the rain.
