A little bit of the Chain-L goes a long ways, so it's not what I would call expensive.
you must ride in some absolutely crap conditions to only get 150 mi between applications.
I keep a log of my Chain-L lube intervals, the FEWEST I've gotten (which included riding in a total deluge for 2 hrs) was 551 miles. the most was 1057 mi in dry conditions.
