I love my speed pro! I can't answer your questions much b/c I use it for local rides and travel (throw in the car on a trip) ... it's great. I've had no probs with my wheels, but I'm only 5'9" and 150# ... and I've only taken it on the smoothest of limestone ... well, a little brick in Wilmette, IL, where they like quaint streets.
Oboeguy should be able to pipe up about the commute. If he doesn't, go read all his posts in this forum for an idea. He commutes in NYC on his!
