yup, and all those people back in the day with friction shifters were too afraid to race their bikes on DT shifters, so racing barely existed back then.
No need to be a d-bag about it, I am just saying what I like on my bike, OK, not making some broad, sweeping pronouncement about DT shifters.
I like brifters, It's my bike, I'll set it up as I see fit.
If you don't like brifters on my bike, then that's your deal.
