I am honestly learning a lot in this thread, especially this last page. Oh, and I am not posting my fixed gear. Most of you would call it JA, but it puts a huge smile on my face so I ride the hell out of it.

I've come to the realization that just about everything I like about track bikes defies logic and falls in the jack-ass territory. When I choose new parts, it's either "that looks fun" or "that looks cool to me."
My bike almost feels like a big kids BMX bike...I love riding it/makes me smile every time.
There is probably a reason why almost all of my bike compliments while out riding come from the 12-16yo "Sweet fixie!" crowd. haha
I'm currently building a MTB and it's so boring compared to my fixed gear.
