58 (for 3 more months)

1. What type of bikes do 50+ folks ride?

Trek 2100, Cannondale Tandem and an old 1982 Cannondale on nasty days

2. Do you take any special supplements/vitamins/minerals as you have grown older?

Yes, glucosamine, saw palmetto, multi vitamin, aspirine, flax seed oil for Omega 3.

3. How much do you feel you have "slowed down" if any?

10-15% from my mid 30s

4. How long have you been biking? New, around a while, biked all your life?

Pretty much all of my life, off and on.


5. What type of biking do you do? Long rides, touring, short rec rides, commute, tour, race?

20-50 mile rides, depending upon time available, weather, etc. perhaps 3 -4 time/week. Also will do 3 or 4 century rides each season.


6. How often do you bike? Your approximate annual mileage?

3-6 times/week. 4,000 annual miles

7. Do you do any other type of physical activities - weight lifting, skiing, running, etc.?

In inclimate weather I weight train, use an eliptical and a stationary trainer, and swim.
