I had a aluminum bike and it was the worst bike I ever had there was so much problems and three months ago when the top seat post broke right off that was all I could take went to my local bike store and all of the new bikes were aluminum bikes I ended up on eBay got a 1973 and a 1975 schwinn varsity Theses two bikes are light years better than my old aluminum beach cruiser I will NEVER get another aluminum bike EVER
