Definitely. I'm saying pull 2 200lbs riders.
One that does an avg of 14mph over terrain with hills and ups an downs. Next guy is 200 and does it at 17mph avg.
My question is - can you say that it was an extra 18% force put through the wheelset? Probably much much more than that at certain peaks. Which is where the riding style or forces comes into play.
I'd wager to say that the difference in the forces is a much higher percentage than a straight 30-40lbs weight gain.
