Totally agree with you Tom, @Lascauxcaveman and @TimmyT is on-point too. I really cracked open the pics and looked, once I hook up my facilitator, then pay for shipping, I'm out another $80 (as high as $120). At the end of the day, $280-$320 is way too high to buy a bike I'll need to sell after refurb (wrong size). If the tires were in great shape I could probably break even, else that would probably be the push-over given my market. It'd be easier to break even on a part-out at $280 with thoughtful disassembly and marketing, but I wouldn't have the heart to it dissect it.
