Thanks. Yeah, i browsed local selections on Craigslist too. Didn't see any in the size range I'm looking for that didn't seem like they were within the past 10-15 years. We'll see. Still browsing some other brands too. I think around his age I bought a 10-speed for like $80 and put it together myself. He's not quite as mechanically inclined though
