Those were cool frames, BUT, you have to be careful with these because a lot of the earlier ones had problems with the bonding coming undone. They can be rebonded but is the cost worth it? There is a place that sells these frames brand new. In addition this frame is probably NOT the 979, this frame appears to be painted not anodized which was the heavier and cheaper Futural aluminum frame.
