The V85 was the most comfortable for me. having 11 gears in the rear is amazing - coming from 8 speeds in back there is not a gap or spot between gears on the V85 - in other words I could always find a gear that was comfortable at my spinning pace. I was also concerned about the 2 rings up front but I was mostly riding in the 50 and went to the 34 on hills. I was also concerned about the price but after 2 rides i'm glad i spent the extra $ - the components are so smooth compared to my other bikes (Cannondale quick and Jamis satellite). I've known the bike shop owner for years and he has some high end bikes but enjoys riding the V85 more than his carbon bikes. I do not work for any bike company BTW.
If you ride the V85 and like it just get it - you pay for a bike once but ride it a thousand times!
Thank you for giving me your firsthand experience! I found it really valuable. I am about to go to bed for the night to truely sleep on it, but I think I am definitely leaning towards the Felt.
