DX is above Deore II and below XT.

Actually can't remember if DX and Deore II coexisted, may have been different years.

EDIT:

Mombat only shows down to DX, so hard telling from that source alone, but DX may have replaced Deore II. They show Deore II as 2nd group in 1989, then DX as 2nd group for 90-91. Then in 92, XTR pushed DX down to third.
