I have the Tarmac on tubeless tires (amazingly smooth ride) and am getting ready to switch to tubes for a while. I suspect the ride will be harsher but I'm going from 23 tubeless to 25 tubed so maybe not much difference. I love the Tarmac but another difference is that the handling is a lot quicker than the Roubaix. So if fatigued, you have to pay much more attention on the fast mountain descents we have here. Smaller changes in input result in more exaggerated results and they can catch you off-guard if very fatigued or not expecting it. The handling is very sharp compared to the Roubaix, which is extremely stable and long. This is my experience, given the limited bikes I have owned.
