I have $500 max to spend for a hybrid. Was looking at Trek FX 7.2 and Cannondale Quick 8.
The Trek is $489 and i like the puncture resistant tires. The dealer is about 1/2 hour away.

The cannondale is $440 and is sold around the corner. When I asked about the quick 6, the guy said the difference between the 6 and 8 is negligible and for the savings the 8 is worth it.

I've done numerous searches but couldn't find any comparison between the 6 and 8. Does anyone know any specifics about this?
I've read other threads about Trek vs Cannondale and it seems they're really comparable so I'm leaning towards the 8.
Am I splitting hairs here?
