My wife is NOT hesitant to tell me when I stink. I wouldn't have made it 3 years with no soap/shampoo (daily rinse-only showers) if I stank all the time. A rinse shower and clean clothes, and a cool enough environment that I'm not sweating, and I'm fine. Some people with different body chemistry, maybe not so fine...
Frankly I'm more likely to create odors that don't emanate from the armpits...
