There are no bad bikes, there is only use other than intended.
The problem with Bike Forum is that everybody, including me, has to filter your question through their own experience. They don't know how and where you really ride your bike. They know what their needs are but not necessarily what your needs are. It appears to me like there are a LOT of WalMart and similar department store bikes that are ridden for daily transportation with minimal maintenance. Some of them look like they have lasted for a very long time. With reasonable maintenance, yours will probably last longer than you really want it to last.
When YOU decide that your bike no longer is meeting your needs, get yourself a different one. Until then, love the bike that you have for what it is and try to ignore the scoffers.
