I agree on the brown tape, it doesn't suit this bike. (Brown bar tape, more often than not, looks great in the mind, but not so great when on the bike.)

If it were mine, I'd match either the seat, using beige or "ivory" (Deda do an ivory bar tape, I have it on a celeste Bianchi and it looks outstanding), OR match the wheels & forks, using black or a dark, "gunmetal" grey. (Again, Deda do a "gunmetal" grey.) I like the Deda tape because it's cheap, stretches well, cleans up nicely and comes in lots of colours.
