I'm 240 lbs, PSIMET recommended and built me a set of Belgium C2 24/28 and they have been nothing short of amazing. I've ~5K miles on them and they never had to be trued, still good as new.
I've been over potholes train tracks, skunk carcass.. you name, they are true as the day they came. If a reputable wheel builder like psimet or november gives that recommendation given the specification of rims, hubs and spokes. You should have no reason 2nd guess.
