If you have a Performance nearby, check out the deals they have.at least a bike shop. The most important thing is fit and if the bike size is unknown it won't matter what bike or how great the deal. A bike shop can nail down the size and lead you in the right direction. As far as accessories go, what really is necassary? A good pump, spare tubes, patch kit, tire levers and multi tool. I recommend a helmet but see lots of people not using them, even parents riding with kids that are wearing them, great message there. What type of bike? Race geometry, endurance or maybe a gravel/adventure bike.
