I'm not surprised that a lot of drivers are into something like cycling. I came back to cycling because I wasn't in good enough shape to do well in my Spec Miata. A lot of people think that race car drivers are beer swilling bubbas but that couldn't be farther from the truth. It takes a lot of stamina to stay focused and drive a car at the limit for 25-30 miles, much less the 300-500 these guys drive.
