Sorry for asking to many questions, Learning a new hobby takes some time
add to the above, do you have a the tools to replace fit the few fork, you will need a crown race remover for the old one, a crown race press, & a tool to fit the Starfangled nut at a minimum.

If this is a one off, it's cheaper to get a LBS to do the work, as the tools needed are pretty specialist.
