Hi,
Rust on steel frames is only an issue if you don't take care of them. I have an 18-year-old Olmo frame made from Columbus Cromor tubing that I'm getting refurbished for the first time. There were a few (very minor) rust spots on it, but it is far from rusting out. I hope and expect to get many more years of service from it (as long as I continue to take care of it!!
