So far so good on my 2004 Interloc Impala 853. This is my first road bike since my CroMo Peugeot when I was a teenager so I can't really compare the ride to other materials. My MTB was aluminum but was stolen this summer, which hastened my return to road bikes. I had no real frame preference when I decided to go with a road frame but I think it ended up being a lucky choice for me.

The ride is very solid, the frame is plenty stiff for me (6'2", 190 lbs) and the comfort is good, although my longest ride since I finished the build-up has been 30 miles.
