I know the bike looks clean in the photos but there was actually a bit of crud around the bb, so cleaned the area (and some other parts) then polished the frame up and used a bit of wax to help protect the paint and the chrome. The only thing wrong with the bike is that just before I got it was sent to a bike shop for a going over and they removed the original brake pad holders and pads and replace them with some cheap ones. I will have to dig around to see if I can find the correct parts.
