I'm looking at a 2004 Bianchi Eros, 51 cm in like new condition for $400. The seller has had the post up for a week (listed at $650 right now) and seems to want a "profit" from selling the bike after buying it new for his wife but has agreed to drop the price. For me, this is just a bike I want to use to ride around for 2 months while I'm in the bay area temporarily.

I ride a 51 cm Specialized Ruby but I read that Bianchi's can seem longer because of how they size. I'm afraid it might be too big but is $400 a good deal or should I just rent a road bike on the days I want to ride. Should I be suspicious that he dropped the price so much compared to what he's listed?
