A little wind-down, then I just fall asleep after an evening ride. I'm a bit of a night-owl, but a good ride will just knock me out.

Most of my rides are commutes and errands, of which I rack up quite a few miles. A typical day will rack up 30 to 50 miles or so in a couple of segments, a few times a week.

I don't do century specific training, or at least I haven't for over two decades. I'm a bit of a plodder, and can go all day, but not real fast, especially if I have a goal... get to the finish or die. Well, maybe not that dramatic, but I don't have a "sag wagon" option. I'm trying to speed up a little bit, and may do better if I can just go with minimal gear. But, I'm hoping improving my average speed for shorter rides will translate to more speed for longer rides.
