A few years back, I did a car show out in Vegas in July. We got packed up and ready to leave the speedway at about 1:30 in the morning. The temperature was 104º. I live in a sorta-desert-- it's 10pm on the first day of summer and the temp has dropped to a cool 94º. I was on the bike by 5:30am, and it was already 77º. I can't understand what motivates people to live in the actual desert.
