Nope, there is DEFINITELY a scripting error in the Quick Reply routine.
This wasn't a Quick Reply, I used the normal Reply button and now I am editing this comment further.
EDIT 2: EDIT works.

Multiquote works. Editor mode seems to work.
Wrapping quote tags around selected text works (it's red and bold as well now)
OOPSY, that thing about multiple lines as you scroll in editing mode, that was a problem in 4.2.1 as well...got over it.
