I have ridden to St Louis a few times, up strait north to Clinton and then over on the Katy. One year I ran into some folks on the Katy who had left their water bottle in the car, and I let them have some water out of my emergency two liter platypus stash, that I had carried from home over 250 miles! Running out of water is not a good time.

The Greenway has some really nice water stations where I filled up my bottles. Its weird riding through urban areas that I remember as rolling farmland from just a few years ago.
Have you ridden the Frisco Highline that runs from Springfield to Boliver? I've only ridden the Southern end which is about a 9 mile paved section.
