From: North Queensferry Scotland and London (and France)

Bikes: Custom (Colin Laing) 531c fast tourer/audax, 1964 Flying Scot Continental, 1995 Cinelli Supercorsa, Holdsworth Mistral single speed, Dahon Speed 6 (folder), Micmo Sirocco and a few more

Freezing fog this morning, but as it's so dry there was no ice to speak of. Pity I took my bright light off last week

I stuck to the cycle path all the way in and it was quite pleasant if a little murky.

Passed a guy on a mountain bike struggling along at v low cadence on the flat pushing his top gear.

Felt like stopping and showing him how to use the gears a bit. I think incorrect use of gears must put some people off as they think they have to get into top gear and then it gets very difficult.
