Just be prepared to take a couple of spills when you change to clip ins. I got clip ins for my road bike and took a couple of falls the first few times I used them. It's just getting used to turning you feet outward to unclip when you stop. Self-fulfilling prophecy: If you keep telling yourself you're going to fall, that increases your chance of falling.
Not everyone using clipless falls. Happens to many but not all.
