On the plus side, it stays out of yours eyes. On the negative side, it drips all over your top tube and stray drops can make it down to the BB or FD. So wash that bike.
I made the comment to demonstrate how the cap soaks up so much sweat and wicks it away to the edges keeping it out of your eyes. The sweat droplets often find their way into my mouth when they drop off the brim but I'll take that over burning my eyes and possibly dislodging a contact lens. And yeah, those morning rides with 90%+ humidity are where the cap really shines.
