I followed northbend's advice and partially resoled my Giro's.
With the Giros I unscrewed the raised portions on the front of the shoe and used a box cutter to level the pedal area. I then glued a portion of Virbram Rubber Half Soles to the area. Good grip but easy in and out.
djkashuba, what adhesive did you use to attach the soles? Was it contact cement, Shoe Goo, some other???
How is the adhesive layer holding up after these many months? Any signs of loosening around the edges?
I'm assuming the Vibram sole is okay, is it?
