The Re-Fuse TR are tremendous, I've no experience with the tubed version. I went through a set of the 700x32 TRs (I can get 2,500 out of a rear,) switched to 700x28 Michelin Pro4 Endurance, and already have a set of Re-Fuse waiting to replace the Pro4s when they wear out (which is soon.) Plan on going to the even bigger Re-Fuse 700x40s after that, which will be around the end of the year.
If you mean the Re-Fuse vs. something like GP4000s, I've no idea. I need tires that don't get flats.
