The problem here is not the earbuds; it's that the earbuds attached the rider to the bike. Clearly a bad idea!
A few years ago my MIL got me a very nice phone mount for my iPhone 5S... I smiled politely and installed it on my least-used bike. I want that thing in my pocket.
