Here's my setup on my Trek DS 8.4
Bontrager rack and bag with one button release. This seems to be a great setup.



I got the rack and bag specifically to carry my camera.
I did add additional padding to the bottom of the bag to protect my equipment from road shocks.



I have always had racks on my bikes. They have very little downside to them and the upside is that the extend the usefulness of the bike.
