Hey Guys!
Thanks all for your valued input.
This weekend I ended up getting the....Cannondale Build. Not only did I think the 'Dale was the most comfortable, but I also felt this was the best shop to continue to build and do business with, which goes a long way with me. Having someone local to rely on is always best, and I don't mind if that's built into the cost somewhat.
As far as parts, only the frame has some miles on it, everything else they assure me is brand new, pretty easy to tell if it's not, but I trust them.
Here's the build details as of now, I may upgrade here and there as the build begins:
- '14 SuperSix Evo hi-mod team frame and fork
- Full Ultegra Di2 (shifters, brakes, chain, cassette, etc...)
- Cannondale SI Crank and FSA speed rings (may go hollowgram)
- Mavic Y'skium Wheel set
- Everything else is what comes on the new '16 Evo (non hi mod) (post, stem, saddle, etc..) so I don't feel like I'm loosing anything that I wouldn't be getting on a new '16.
Thoughts on this build? Tempeted to upgrade to hollowgram, but I think my fitness level in more important right now.
I see some members here that go to this shop so would like to leave the price out of it, but I feel I got a good deal, and still can retain the factory and shop warranties which is better than buying used off craigslist or something.
