I use NOAA and WeatherUnderground. I check wind forecast on NOAA, and it's usually pretty accurate.

I'll check radar on WeatherUnderground before I venture out. It's usually no more than 5 minutes old.

We're having a lot of "pop-up" showers here as well. I almost got caught yesterday.
