Honestly, Specialized off the rack is about the worst bang for your buck. Compare a similar bike from brands like Fuji, Felt, Norco, Kona, Jamis, Raleigh, etc. and see where you end up. The Roubaix is $1800 and you get 10 speed Tiagra. There are bikes out there that are less money and have a better parts list.
